- Coworking Connections, Murrieta, CA
Legacy Core™ hosted Cyber Social on February 25 for an accessible, non-technical conversation about password protection and the benefits of using a password manager.
The session explained why reused, predictable, and weak passwords can place personal and business accounts at risk. Attendees learned how one exposed password may give criminals access to multiple accounts, including email, banking, social media, and workplace systems.
The presentation introduced password managers as a practical way to create, store, and organize strong, unique passwords without requiring users to remember every login. Attendees also received guidance on improving existing passwords, recognizing suspicious login activity, and adding stronger account protection through multi-factor authentication.
Cyber Social gave participants practical steps they could apply immediately to improve their digital safety and protect sensitive personal and business information. The event supported Legacy Core’s mission of making cybersecurity understandable, approachable, and actionable for the communities and small businesses that need it most.
