Yes. The Public Business Trust Registry is the live record. Anyone can look up Verified, Expired, or Not Found.

Frequently asked questions
Hosting does not change who issues the credential. Legacy Core does.
Does a city or chamber endorsement come with hosting?
No. Hosting or co-hosting a session is collaboration, not government approval. A city or chamber does not issue, endorse, or guarantee a Legacy Core credential.
Can a sponsor buy a Trust Badge for a business?
No. Sponsorship may fund access to the credentialing pathway. It never purchases or guarantees a credential. Bronze is issued after the 15-part Readiness Assessment is completed and reviewed.
Are these sessions a vendor pitch?
No. Teach first. Build trust. Let relationships develop naturally. Alliance Partners may be in the room as experts. They do not buy the agenda.
Does a Trust Audit issue a credential?
No. The Trust Audit is diagnostic only. Bronze is Baseline Readiness, issued after the 15-part Readiness Assessment is completed and reviewed. See /trust-badges for how Trust Badges are earned.
Is this only for Southern California?
No. Any qualifying organization in the United States can inquire. Southern California is where we have been showing up, including work with Provident Bank. That is proof of presence, not a service boundary.
Who issues the credential after a community session?
Legacy Core remains the credentialing authority. Partners, cities, chambers, and sponsors do not issue Trust Badges.
