Credential Integrity & Governance

Legacy Core issues Trust Credentials and maintains the credential standard, Trust Badges, and the Public Business Trust Registry. It is not a government agency and is not accredited by NIST, CIS, or any government body.

Legacy Core reviews submitted readiness evidence against its credential requirements. When those requirements are met, Legacy Core issues a Trust Credential linked to a public registry record.

Accountability today

Christopher Green, Founder & CEO, is responsible for operating Legacy Core through Modern Green Enterprise LLC. Qualified external reviewer relationships are being established. Founder accountability is separate from independent technical review.

Legacy Core owns the credential standard, Trust Badges, and the Public Business Trust Registry. It reviews submitted evidence against published requirements and remains accountable for issuance, decline, renewal, and later status changes. No other party issues a Legacy Core credential.

Alliance Partners

Alliance Partners may help implement controls and submit evidence-backed attestations. A partner reviewing work it implemented is not an independent review. Payment, a referral relationship, or Alliance Partner membership does not guarantee approval.

External reviewers

Qualified external reviewers may evaluate evidence within their competence when appointed for that scope. Those relationships are being established. When appointed, a reviewer evaluates evidence inside a defined scope. That evaluation informs Legacy Core. It does not replace the issuance decision.

Trust Council (in formation)

The Trust Council is being assembled. It has not approved the current Standards Release. Legacy Core remains responsible for its credential program. The planned Council will advise on standards and oversight. It will not issue Trust Badges.

Names, affiliations, qualifications, and logos will be published only after they are confirmed and authorized. Until then, do not treat this page as a roster or an endorsement list.

Published standard

Reviews follow the current Standards Summary 2026.Q3, reviewed July 13, 2026. The Trust Council is in formation. No Trust Council approval is claimed for this Standards Release. That page shows the version, date, documented tier requirements, evidence expectations, and review scope. The public summary does not publish scoring, thresholds, or internal review procedure.

Tiers and independence

Bronze is Baseline Readiness: documented completion of the credentialing pathway and applicable Bronze requirements after Legacy Core review. It does not mean every technical control was tested. Silver is Evidence-Verified Implementation: documented implementation evidence reviewed under the published standard. Gold is Ongoing Verified Readiness: documented continued readiness over time. Gold does not mean Legacy Core continuously monitors the business.

Silver and Gold cannot be earned through self-attestation. The free Trust Audit is a diagnostic Readiness Assessment. It does not issue a Trust Badge. Bronze is issued only after the credentialing pathway, applicable Bronze requirements, and Legacy Core review.

Public verification

Public verification checks credential status and the recorded assessment scope. It does not prove a business is currently free of security weaknesses. Anyone can verify a business by name or credential ID. Status comes from the live registry record, not a screenshot or downloaded badge. Evidence, internal findings, personal information, and attesting partner names stay off the public record. See registry disclosure.

Correct a listing

If a public field is wrong, or you have a concern about a credential display, email verify@legacycore.com. We correct facts we can match to the listing.

Become a Verification Partner

Qualified security reviewers can write us to discuss scope, evidence requirements, qualifications, and conflicts of interest. We review each inquiry. Appointment is not automatic.
