For Partners
Help the small businesses you serve close the Trust Gap.
Legacy Core™ runs a marketplace partner program — no exclusive territories, no gatekeeping. Credentialed businesses pick their Alliance Partner from a public directory.
Why partner with Legacy Core
A credential your clients can actually earn.
Most cybersecurity offerings for small business are vague, expensive, or both. Legacy Core gives you a concrete credential to point at and a public registry that holds credentialed businesses accountable.
A trusted credential to point to
Give the small businesses you serve a credentialing pathway they can actually finish — and a Trust Badge their clients can verify.
Visibility in the Alliance Partner Directory
Credentialed businesses choose Alliance Partners from a directory. Better partners surface naturally over time.
Referral and ecosystem opportunities
Alliance Partners may participate in referral and ecosystem opportunities. Partners help businesses strengthen cybersecurity. Legacy Core determines whether a Trust Badge has been earned.
Who we partner with
The advisers small businesses already trust.
Legacy Core partners with the organizations and advisers small businesses turn to when they need a trusted answer.
Chambers of commerce
Offer member businesses a credentialing pathway that orients to recognized cybersecurity readiness frameworks and is visible in a public registry.
Business associations
Industry associations and professional networks supporting CPAs, attorneys, brokers, medical and dental practices, and other professional services firms.
Insurance brokers
Brokers serving small business commercial lines who want their book to demonstrate verifiable cybersecurity readiness.
Cyber insurance & risk advisers
Specialists who help small businesses translate readiness gaps into insurable posture — with a credential clients can verify.
CPAs and bookkeepers
Trusted advisers whose clients ask "what should we be doing about cybersecurity?" — now there is a credentialing pathway to point at.
Medical and dental practice consultants
Practice management and compliance consultants supporting healthcare practices that handle sensitive client data.
Cybersecurity service providers
Vetted MSSPs, MSPs, and vCISO practices who help businesses implement cybersecurity improvements. Partners implement. Legacy Core decides whether Silver or Gold has been earned.
The Legacy Core ecosystem
How the ecosystem works after credentialing.
Legacy Core is building a marketplace where small businesses, verifiable credentials, and vetted service providers reinforce each other. Alliance Partners may participate in referral and ecosystem opportunities.
- Step 1
Understand the Trust Gap
Start with a free Trust Audit or enter the credentialing pathway. The Trust Audit is diagnostic only. It does not issue a credential.
Start Your Free Trust Audit - Step 2
Earn a reviewed Trust Badge
Complete the applicable credentialing requirements. Legacy Core reviews eligibility under the applicable credential standard. The result is a Trust Badge listed in the Public Business Trust Registry.
Get credentialed - Step 3
Choose a vetted Alliance Partner
Select from the Alliance Partner Directory: established MSSPs, cyber insurance advisers, CPAs, and service providers reviewed by Legacy Core.
See partners - Step 4
Implement the right work
Alliance Partners may implement security. They cannot purchase, guarantee, or self-award a Trust Badge. Legacy Core determines whether the credential has been earned.
- Step 5
Keep strengthening readiness
Businesses can continue improving cybersecurity maturity over time. Silver and Gold cannot be earned through self-attestation. Partners implement. Legacy Core decides.

Post-credential flow
After the badge: pick a partner and start the work.
After credentialing
The business has documented the gaps
The readiness assessment and credentialing pathway give the business language for what clients, insurers, and partners expect — before anyone sells a service package.
Partner selection
They choose from the Alliance Partner Directory
Credentialed businesses pick vetted MSSPs, cyber insurance advisers, CPAs, and service providers — not random cold outreach.
Implementation
Partners deliver the right work
MSSP, insurance, and advisory work can start with shared context: the business already has a credentialing pathway and a public trust signal, not a cold fear pitch.
Keep progressing
Partners help. Legacy Core still issues the credential.
Alliance Partners may participate in referral and ecosystem opportunities. They cannot purchase, guarantee, or self-award a Trust Badge.
The marketplace model
No exclusive territories. The directory rewards good work.
Credentialed businesses choose their Alliance Partner from a public directory. Partners earn visibility by producing good outcomes for the businesses they serve, not by claiming a region or paying for placement.
The same principle applies to credentials: Alliance Partners may implement security. Legacy Core determines whether the Legacy Core credential has been earned. Partners cannot purchase, guarantee, or self-award a Trust Badge.
Step 1
Introduce the credential
Share the Get Credentialed page with a small business you serve. The Trust Badge is what their clients can verify at the end of the pathway.
Step 2
Help them get started
Referral Partners introduce businesses to Legacy Core. Alliance Partners may help the business implement cybersecurity improvements. Legacy Core still reviews eligibility under the applicable credential standard.
Step 3
Client earns their credential
The business completes the credentialing pathway, passes review, and is listed in the Public Business Trust Registry with a verifiable Trust Badge.
Step 4
Stay in the ecosystem
Alliance Partners stay visible in the Partner Directory and may continue helping the credentialed business strengthen readiness. Badge decisions stay with Legacy Core.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between an Alliance Partner and a Referral Partner?
Referral Partners introduce small businesses to the Legacy Core credentialing pathway. Alliance Partners also appear in the Alliance Partner Directory, may help implement cybersecurity improvements, and may support Silver and Gold when evidence exists. Partners cannot award a Trust Badge.
Do partners get exclusive territory?
No. Legacy Core runs a marketplace model — there are no exclusive territories. Credentialed businesses choose their Alliance Partner from the directory. The advantage goes to partners who consistently produce good outcomes for their clients.
Can a partner attest to their own client’s Silver or Gold credential?
An Alliance Partner may support a Silver or Gold pathway when evidence exists. Self-attestation by the business is never accepted, and a partner cannot guarantee or self-award the badge. Legacy Core determines whether the credential has been earned.
Does Legacy Core compete with cybersecurity service providers?
No. Legacy Core is a credentialing authority, not a managed service provider. The credentialing pathway produces a credential and a public registry listing — it does not deliver MSP, MSSP, or vCISO services. Cybersecurity service providers are first-class Alliance Partners.
How is partner compensation handled?
Alliance Partners may participate in referral and ecosystem opportunities. Specific terms are shared during partner onboarding and in partner agreements, not on this public page.
Why would a business use an Alliance Partner after credentialing?
Legacy Core creates the trust signal. Implementation still requires specialists. Vetted Alliance Partners help businesses close remaining gaps and continue progressing toward stronger cybersecurity readiness.
How do I apply to become a partner?
Use the partner application form on this page. Tell us about your organization, the small businesses you serve, and whether you are interested in Referral Partner or Alliance Partner status. We respond within a few business days.
Partner with a credentialing authority your clients can verify.
The Alliance Partner Directory rewards work that produces credentialed outcomes — not territories or paid placement.
