Legacy Core™ will partner with Provident Bank and the VFW on August 27 for an educational fraud-prevention session created specifically for seniors, families, and community members.

Led by Christopher Green, Founder of Legacy Core™, the presentation will explain common scams in clear, non-technical language. Topics will include fraudulent phone calls, impersonation scams, suspicious emails and text messages, identity theft, card fraud, and urgent payment requests designed to pressure victims into acting quickly.

Attendees will learn how to recognize warning signs, verify unexpected requests, protect personal and banking information, and respond when something does not feel right. The session will also provide practical guidance for helping family members and friends avoid becoming victims of fraud.

The goal of the event is to give seniors greater confidence when navigating today’s scams and provide simple actions they can use immediately to protect their money, identity, and personal information.
